This project reimagines the lost narratives of discarded objects, found along the river Thames.
As the river changes in an endless cycle of tidal flow; continuously shifting between dangerous stream and calm sanctuary, it allows one temporary access onto the ground, which forms the riverbed.
Exposed within the arid landscape, one stumbles across objects, which ones fell from hand to water and lay forgotten on the river’s ground. Now part of this landscape the objects form fragments to the river itself.
A theatre of artificial nature.
Through the repeated act of sculptural arrangements the dead objects and the stories they carry within compose new life, in an effort to reimagine their traces.
